The Grief Book :]

i borrowed a book,
quite nice but somehow not really specific.
okay, i shall write some sentences here.
some meaningful ones, i guess :x

The introduction
Feeling grief and loss is very necessary, it happens to us all.
u might feel like you're not good enough, or have really
hard things to deal with.
its okay to be sad sometimes, it happens to us all.
its wat we do with our saddness that matters.

Grieving checklist
1. are u more tired than usual?
2. do u get grumpy with ppl more often than usual?
3. do u feel like smashing sth fragile?
4. do u feel unusually lonely?
5. do u wan to tok to someone about sth but just cant quite manage it?
6. are u eating a lot more or less than usual?
7. do u find urself asking "why" a lot?
8. are u suddenly feeling vulnerable?
9. do u feel tat u have no control over wat happens to u?
10. do u feel that u just don wan to be around ppl, that u wan to be by urself a lot?
11. do u flare up and feel like hitting out at ppl?
12. are u using drugs or alcohol to numb ur feelings?
13. do u feel like everything is "hopeless"?

grief can cause ur behaviour to change.
grief is isolating, it can be very depressing and at time its downright frightening
some pretty annoying things can happen too.
when u are feeling alone and vulnerable, other unhappy emotions from the past may come back to bother you. on top of coping with ur present grief, u might have to deal with the old feelings of guilt, or abandonment, or watever else it is tat keeps u up at night.
it's normal to feel very sad and to experience a huge sense of loss. it's also normal tat different situations will bring up the same grief feelings such as anger and loss.

one of the best ways to heal when u are tired and stressed is to sleep.

do u ever feel that no one could understand how u feel?
maybe u don even fully understand how u feel.
that there is no logic to ur thoughts or emotions?
that there seems to be no way out?

its difficult to express wats going on inside.
not being able to communicate wats happening can make u feel even more alone.
its hard to talk about sth when u don quite know wat u wan to say.
sometimes, those closest to u are not equipped to assist with ur grief, they may wan
to be there to help, but don quite know how.
so seek out other ppl who have been through a similar situation. see how they've dealt with the obstacles that confronted them as they walked their path.

only someone who will just listen, who will hear me and won talk over the top of me
only someone who doesn't say " i know how u feel"
only someone who doesn't judge me
only someone with a sense of humour.

if you u grieving, choose a person with whom u feel comfortable with, and approach them with honesty and truth.

it will take time to move through grief, there are no quick fixes,
but it can be really hard for others to watch u going through a tough time.
to get thru grief, though, u have to stay with the hard feelings, so be careful of ppl's snap out of it.

you often hear things like this when ppl don know how to deal with a difficult situation. they might feel uncomfortable or simply not know wat else to say. be patient with them, and try to rmb not to use phrases like that urself.

if u walk up a path that somebody else told u to walk, and u look ahead and u don like where you're going, and u look back and you don wan to return, step off the path. pick urself a brand new road.

"grief is like manure;
if u spread it out it fertilises
if u leave it in a big pile.
it smells like hell"

somehow i agree, ppl do emo alot
esp at night.
me too!
but occasionally ofcoz :]
i don like to be emo,
it will only hurt my love ones
i like to keep my deep feelings inside
i don wanna let it out.
trying to be strong,
i don wan my love ones to worry.
i wan them to be happy as always.
that is why, i cry sliently at night :]

don wish to care, don wish to think
i just wanna have a good night sleep.
becoz this is life :]
trust me, be realistic.
